A dedicated ‘foodie’ and obsessive home cook for over thirty years, Leah has now fallen hard for the handsome allure of sourdough, along with fermented foods in general.
Baking around 40 loaves a week in her humble home kitchen, Leah designed this workshop to share her methods and enable the home cook to achieve real, artisan bread (for only a couple of dollars a loaf!)

Come along to this intermediate sourdough course and let’s go ‘next level’!
It’s just bread, right? What more could you possibly go into?
Well, topics like…
– Working with different flours
– Add-ins and flavoured breads
– Alternative shaping (batards, rolls)
– Managing your starter: different ideas and trouble-shooting
– Recipes with pre-ferments
– Introduction to baguettes
– Non-bread sourdough recipes
– Fun with scoring and stencils…
The list goes on!
This workshop will be tailored to the interests of the participants- once you buy a ticket I will ask for your preferences (top 2 flours of interest, top 2 add-ins you want etc) and do my best to cover those on the day.
Like the beginner workshop, you will get hands-on with dough and come away with a folder of resources (and freshly baked sourdough).
Time to set new sourdough goals- what fun!

What do I bring? Participants will be supplied with everything, including an Apron. We will send you an email in the days leading up to your Workshop. Please keep an eye out for it (including in your Others or Trash folders).
Cancellations: Cancellations 30 days out will receive full refund; 14 days out will receive 50% refund; cancellations 7 days out will forfeit full payment.
