Anna Bartlett
Contemporary Painter
Anna is a contemporary painter who lives in a very long house on top of foggy Mount Kynoch in Toowoomba.
Happy colours are her thing and the finishing coat of shiny, gloss varnish is her favourite part of the art process. Inspired by Matisse and Ken Done, her paintings are colourful and illustrative, often featuring flowers and birds.
ABOUT THE HOUSE OF ARTISAN WORKSHOP
Anna has designed a Painting Party subject based around Gum Blossoms or ‘Corymbia’ ficifolia just for you.
You’ll be starting with a black canvas and mono printing your own beautiful backgrounds before layering on branches, leaves and flowers. You’ll stand back and go “WOW” when you’ve finished this one, and then you’ll get to take it home – strung, varnished and ready to hang.
Ladies, you are welcome to bring a wine and enjoy this class with your girlfriends, mum or sisters.
Optional extra: Painting Party Book $40 each. Click here to purchase!
